“We are now in our fifth year of working with TCB. We began our relationship in 2021 with the main objective being to qualify leads received from brochure downloads, webinar attendees and web site forms. At first, I was doubtful as to whether we would gain any additional benefit versus using our internal sales team. We began with a trial in EMEA, but this quickly grew to a global initiative.
What impressed me most was the time that TCB took to research our business and learn about the value that our products delivered, through interviews with our sales and product management teams.
We quickly learned that the quality of leads that we received was down to the quality of briefing that we provided. Our field sales teams previously might make an odd call to follow up a lead, but TCB were tenacious and persistent in trying to call customer prospects, sometimes 20 to 30 calls to reach a really important customer prospect.
We received regular reports and transcripts of calls, which demonstrated how well the training was being put into practice. Our customers appreciated being spoken to in their native languages and their friendly, yet professional, approach quickly identified and qualified the “hot leads”. TCB have generated hundreds of leads over their time working with us. The appointments made have been converted into several €M of pipeline and subsequently many new customers and new opportunities within existing customers.
We have also engaged TCB to manage our first-level technical support, which they not only manage effectively, but also convert a fair proportion of technical support queries into leads. Despite not being “techies”, TCB are able to absorb the benefits that our products and services bring and use conversations with our customers and prospects to subtly qualify them, in some cases better than our field sales team.”
